We don't believe in wearing clothes just once we want you to get the most out of all of our garments so you can wear it year after year after year...

Meet The Designers

Hankie Tankie
By Ariana Austin

Hankie Tankie began when the designer's mother sent her a package of vintage hankies with a note that said, 'Do something with these!' Ariana had been experimenting with tank-tops and -voila!- Hankie Tankie was born. Each top is one-of-a-kind and inspired by a passion for recycling abandoned vintage fabrics into original designs. Ariana grew up digging for vintage treasures at sunny California swapmeets and currently resides in lush green Portland Oregon, where she enjoys rummaging through the "Free Boxes" that come Springtime, everyone in the community puts out their front door.

Lois designs are trend driven and fashion led whilst each piece is still unique.

Lily Du Noir
By Leanne Wilson

Having worked as a burlesque performer, tattooist, artist's model, and costume designer, Leanne's experience is certainly diverse. This is reflected in her current inspiration for design which draws on aspects from the 1950s pin-up girls and elaborate theatrical themes, to the intricate styling and technical construction of corsetry and burlesque. Vintage patterns and classic forms make up much of her work, and she sources one-off fabrics from retro warehouses as well as raiding her Granny's button box!

Asian Apparel
By Dao Chung

Dao Chung was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1987. Having moved to the United States as an infant in the early 90s, her family took up working as in-house seamstresses to make an initial living in the "Land of Opportunity." It was at the young age of 4 that she was introduced to industrial sewing machines. It was only natural, in her teenage years, to embrace her childhood and begin sewing her own clothes. After all, it is cheaper to make your own clothes than to buy them. Now at 22, she is a full-time fashion student living in Southern California. A self-proclaimed Francophile and music connoisseur, she roots her style and inspiration from fashionable knock-offs, thrift-store clothes, and simplistic shapes.
